Jericho Share is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Health Care Sharing Ministry (HCSM). It is a community comprised of individuals and families who share a standard set of religious and ethical beliefs and seek to inspire grace and compassion in one another.
Jericho Share membership is open to anyone who agrees to adhere to religious and ethical principles. However, here are the shared beliefs that each member is expected to accept:
Jericho Share: Religious & Ethical Beliefs
Belief # 1: I believe every member has a fundamental and religious right to worship God in their way.
Members should be able to practice their faith and express their beliefs freely. As a member of Jericho Share, members should feel their rights are protected.
Jericho Share explains that people can practice their faith and express their beliefs in various ways. For example, some people prefer to pray alone or with a single other people, whereas others prefer to attend group meetings or church services.
Everyone should have the freedom to practice and express their faith.
Belief #2: I believe my religious and ethical obligation is to share in the burden of others when they need assistance, according to my current resources and opportunities.
You should have the ability and desire to assist those in need. It includes every member who requires financial assistance to share their medical expenses with other members.
According to Jericho Share, the moral and ethical responsibilities of helping others include assisting whenever possible. It also involves not refusing assistance because you do not wish to become involved in another person's problems.
Belief #3: I believe in sharing in a common community of like-minded individuals with the need to come together in a caring community, regardless of race, age, gender, sexual persuasion, or political affiliation.
According to Jericho Share, inclusivity values all individuals regardless of race, age, gender, sexual orientation, or political affiliation. It indicates that you are accepting of those who are different from you. It may entail respecting other races or religions and treating all people with dignity. It also implies that you welcome individuals of all ages into the community.
Belief #4: I believe I must care for my family and that emotional, mental, and physical abuse of any kind to a family member or anyone else is morally wrong.
You should demonstrate to your children and family that emotional, mental, and physical abuse is morally unacceptable.
